It is one of the prime branches of Engineering and always in demand. The Department has Power Engines, Fluid Mechanics, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Metrology & Quality Control laboratories. A large number of charts and working models are also used to impact in depth knowledge to students. We have well equipped workshops with all necessary lathes, machines and tools. Trends in the scientific and technological world indicate rapid transformations in the scope of mechanical engineering. |
|
Mechanical engineers will continue to lead the world in providing significant contributions to the essential sectors including energy & environment, manufacturing, transportation, waste management and health & medical care. Mechanical engineers need to be trained not only in the traditional fundamental areas, but also in the emerging interdisciplinary areas. Nanotechnology and Mechatronics will have prominent places in the future. |
