Department of Industrial Electronics was started in 1994 followed by department of Electronics Engineering in 1995 with intake of 60 seats each. The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was established in 1998 after the closure of Industrial Electronics branch and was approved by DTE with intake of 120 seats. |
Mrs. N. D. Deshmukh is the current HOD of the department since 2001. Mr. V.G. Girhepunje was the first HOD in 1998 to 2000. |
Maximum number of teaching faculty from EJ department is Post graduate. The department has one laurels with highest result in academics for continuous nine years 2007 to2016. The students from EJ department have excelled not only in academics but also in state level project competitions and secured first position in Narsee Munje Awards too. |
